Do you have kooky relatives or are you the strange one in the family? Either way, you’ll feel right at home with the second show of the Birmingham Village Players (BVP) 100th Season, The Addams Family.
Just in time for the October holiday, you’ll meet the ghoulish gang of Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, Pugsley and Uncle Fester.
Get ready for your reunion with The Addams Family which runs October 28-November 13, 2022. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 8pm. Sunday matinees start at 2pm. This delightful musical comedy based on the characters by Charles Addams with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice opens October 28-November 13.
The rest of the BVP 100th season includes the community theatre debut of Harold and Maude, The Musical, a musical adaptation of the classic cult film by Colin Higgins with book and lyrics by Tom Jones and music by Joseph Thalken. Harold and Maude runs from January 13-29, 2023.
Then get ready for giggles and belly laughs with Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me a Tenor taking the stage March 10-26, 2023.
The final entry of BVP’s 100th season is about wishes and what can happen when they come true. Come Into the Woods with BVP May 5-21, 2023.
