Get your tickets now for four of the boldest comedy warriors all on the same stage! Spotlighting the fresh comedy perspective of the brilliant Johanna Medranda, The Theater Shop in conjunction with The UnClub will take over the Ypsi Alehouse in Ypsilanti, Michigan, on March 25 for this unique ticketed event.
You may have seen Johanna on the cover of Hour Detroit Magazine, featuring at The Milwaukee Comedy Festival, Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle, The MadHouse Comedy Club, and Laugh Factory Chicago.
Johanna is both a finalist of the Gilda Radner LaughFest Roast Battle and a fan favorite of LaughFest's "Dirty Show". She has played for Bricks & Bridges Comedy Festival, StoopFest, The “12 Days of Grizmas” showcase, NPR’s WDET “What’s So Funny About Detroit?”, produced and performed for The Motor City Comedy Festival, and was the first comedian to perform for So Far Sound Detroit. Johanna Medranda has opened for comedians Dave Attell, Brody Stevens, Liza Treyger, Stavros Halkias, Nicole Schreiber, Akaash Singh, Robert Kelly, and Krystyna Hutchinson. She was also set to perform for the infamous Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in 2020, which was sadly cancelled due to God hating us all.

Featuring is Vivian Burgett, who started doing comedy as a way to cope with having the most boring job ever: grant writing. Yuck. As an avid NPR listener, she has been known to express her feelings through rhyming limericks and occasionally rhyming punchlines. She’s performed her unique blend of dark and nerdy comedy all over Southeast Michigan including at her monthly open mic "Fem Feedback" which she runs in Ann Arbor for female and trans comedians. She can frequently be found performing at friends’ weddings because, that’s right, she’s the only one who’s still single.
Leading off the night is Finn St. John, a stand-up comedian, storyteller, actor, and improviser. They have performed at the Tree Town Comedy Festival in the Comedy Rumble, The Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase, and with Don’t Tell Comedy. Finn is known for their witty conversational style, dry delivery, and solid punchlines while sharing unique perspectives on life experiences.
MC for the night is the dynamic Lisa Green who has been burning up the Michigan comedy scene with their ground shattering take on gender, sexuality, and social mores all while hosting and producing their own shows and performing to enthusiastic audiences throughout the region.
