Based on the real-life cousin of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis, Grey Gardens takes a lyrical look at the lives of two of America’s most lovable eccentrics. “Big” Edie Bouvier Beale and her daughter, “Little” Edie, are dynamic socialites in the charmed world of the East Hamptons. Eventually, the women withdraw from society and become recluses in their disintegrating home. They are discovered, to the chagrin of the Bouvier family, by the media who expose their strange, neglected lives.
