In a story that could be straight out of todays headlines, a determined fact-checker goes head-to-head with a famous author in this thought-provoking but comedic battle royale. Their fast-paced war of words starts over a deeply moving essay about the suicide of a teenage boy and examines what is fact, what is fiction, and does it matter if the future of the magazine is on the line. Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones, and Bobby Cannavale starred in the Broadway production.Characters:2 men,1 woman the actors can be any race, ethnicity, or gender identificationJohn DAgata (40s 60s) the writer. Intelligent, very stressed but keeps her cool very well, perceptive, able to multi-task without dropping a thing.Jim Fingal (20s-30s) the fact-checker. A fresh-out-of-Harvard intern at Emilys magazine. Nervous about this assignment, eager-to-please, but not afraid to stand up to John.
