Nora's new life as a writer is in danger of unraveling so she returns to her estranged husband and family for help. Old wounds are opened, new relationships are made but, most importantly, everyone gets a chance at closure. Whether you're familiar with A Doll's House or encountering the story for the first time, A Doll's House, Part 2 delivers on drama and draws you in with curiosity. Henrik Ibsen's classic play, A Doll's House, questioned the traditional roles of men and women in the 19th-century. A Doll's House, Part 2, written 140 years later by Lucas Hnath, aims to answer the question of what happened where A Doll's House left off? The show premiered on Broadway in 2017 with Nora, the protagonist, returning home 15 years after she left her family in the original play.
