Harlem9, in partnership with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge, presents the inaugural 48Hours in...™Baton Rouge on July 27, 2024. This unique festival brings together six playwrights, six directors, and 18 actors to create and perform six short plays inspired by local health disparities and the national theme “No Place Like Home.” With a whirlwind 48-hour timeframe for creation, the project showcases the collaborative energy of local artists, amplifying their narratives and experiences. This event culminates in a live performance, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of Baton Rouge.
