Williamston Theatre Presents Norm Foster's OLD LOVE, 5/15-6/15

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, presents Old Love by Norm Foster. Performances begin Thursday, May 15 and run through Sunday, June 15. Tickets for this insightful and sweet look at friendship and the possibility of romance between two unlikely companions are now on sale.

Old Love is a co-production with the Tipping Point Theatre in Northville, where the show ran from April 3 - May 4. Due to the nature of this co-production there will only be one Preview Performance on Thursday, May 15 at 8PM. The Official Opening Night is Friday, May 16 with the show scheduled to run through Sunday, June 15. Performances will run Thursday and Friday evenings at eight o'clock, Saturday matinees at three o'clock, Saturday evenings at eight o'clock and Sunday matinees at two o'clock.

He's recently divorced. She's newly widowed. He's a man who won't give up. She's a woman who won't give in. In a story that spans three decades, we travel with two unlikely companions who encounter each other at strange and inopportune times. When the time is finally right, will they be able to give in to their desires for courtship? Find out if a trip to the circus is what it takes to start over, again. The cast of Old Love consists of Ruth Crawford and Thomas D. Mahard (And the Creek Don't Rise). The Director is Williamston Theatre's Artistic Associate, Lynn Lammers (Shirley Valentine, Eleemosynary). The production team includes Scenic Design by Daniel C. Walker (Over the River and Through the Woods, Shirley Valentine), Lighting Design by Chantel Gadica, Costume Design by Shelby Newport, Sound Design by Julia Garlotte (The Woman in Black) and Prop Design by Stephen Carpenter. The Stage Manager is Rochelle Clark.

Tickets are Pay-What-You-Can for Thursday, May 15. Ticket prices the remainder of the run are $25.00 for Friday and Saturday evenings, $22.00 for Saturday and Sunday matinees and $20.00 for Thursday evenings. Discounted rates are available for senior citizens (65 and older), members of the Military, students (with a valid student ID) and groups of 10 or more (booked at least 1 week in advance).
