WickedGreen Productions introduces a one night only benefit concert, Party Worth Crashing. Featuring (with exclusive permission) the music of Broadway's hottest composing duo, Kerrigan & Lowdermilk, this extraordinary musical event will raise funds for the West Bloomfield High School MIFA Program and allow current and former students to perform along side seasoned industry professionals.

What is MIFA? The Michigan Interscholastic Forensics Association is a competitive theatre program that gives students the opportunity to work in a strict and intense environment, producing a full play and taking it to three levels of Festival Competitions. The program teaches the true hectic nature of the business while instilling a sense of unity, respect and self-assurance. This is not a state funded program and relies solely on outside funding.

Who are Kerrigan & Lowdermilk? Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk made their off-Broadway debut in 2006 with their adaptation of Henry and Mudge. Other musicals includeThe Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown, Tales From The Bad Years, The Woman Upstairs, Wrong Number, The Freshman Experiment, Republic and Flash of Time. Their musicals have been developed at the Goodspeed's Norma Terris Theatre, Theatreworks Silicon Valley, La Jolla Playhouse, Perry-Mansfield New Works Festival, ASCAP/Disney Workshop, Manhattan Theatre Club, York Theatre, the Lark Playwrights Development Center, and Primary Stages. Their first album, Our First Mistake (2011), charted at #1 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart; their new album, Kerrigan-Lowdermilk Live (2013), documents a concert tour that resulted from their breakout $35K kickstarter. Among them, they have received the 2009 Kleban Award, 2006 Larson Award, 2005 Richard Rodgers Award, and 2004-2005 Dramatists Guild Fellowship. They have held residencies at the Orchard Project and the MacDowell Arts Colony. www.kerrigan-lowdermilk.com.

This one time opportunity for students and industry professionals to come together for a program that speaks to the heart of our theatre community and utilizes the hauntingly resonant music of contemporary Broadway is not one to be missed. With little to no state funding for the Arts in schools, this is an incredible chance to shape the young generation of artists coming out of Michigan.

Featured performers include: Bailey Boudreau, Rachel Dalton, Meredith Deighton, Kelly Klopocinski, Kryssy Becker, Josie Kirsch, Tim Stone, Taylor Alfano, Joseph Boehnlein, Brian Baylor, Gabriel Kadian, Nick Kisse, Claire Jolliffe, Zachary Levine, Chris Brody. Accompanist: Alexander Cronin.

100 percent of ticket sales will go to the WBHS MIFA Program.

The show will take place tonight, January 15th, at West Bloomfield High School. Tickets are $18 in advance and $25 at the door. In order to purchase and reserve tickets, visit wbhstheatre.com, email wbhsmifa@gmail.com, or call 248-298-9617.
