Water Works Theatre Company invites Detroit area Shakespeare and theatre fans to join them this Saturday night in Royal Oak for their annual fundraiser event. Now in its twelfth year, the company depends on donors from across the metro area to produce Michigan's largest outdoor theatre event.
This year, Water Works will present Shakespeare's greatest hero, HENRY V August 2-12 in Royal Oak's Starr Jaycee Park. "While Henry V is Shakespeare's greatest hero, our supporters and donors are our greatest heroes. This event gives our fans an opportunity to be a part of bringing our unique outdoor theatre program to life and gives us a chance to recognize them for their support." Stated Water Works founder and executive director Ed Nahhat.
