Heading off a season exploring the power of words, The Ringwald Theatre is pleased to present the Michigan Premiere of Steve Yockey's new play, Wolves. Wolves turns a familiar tale on its head with a gritty, urban retelling of Little Red Riding Hood that explores the conflation of sex and fear in modern culture.

In Wolves, a timid and young city-dweller named Ben freaks out when his roommate, Jack, brings home a "big bad wolf" for a one-night stand. When he tries to rescue Jack, Ben sets into motion a dangerous chain of events that will alter the world as they know it. Throw in a peculiar narrator who knows more than she's letting on, and this savagely funny fairy tale for grown-ups twists and turns toward its breathtaking climax!

The cast for Wolves is Robbie Dwight as Ben, Artun Kircali as Jack, Jonathan West as Wolf, and Lisa Melinn as Narrator.

Brandy Joe Plambeck directs with assistant directing by Dan Morrison. Set and Lighting Design is designed by Dan Morrison while Sound Design is by Brandy Joe Plambeck.

Wolves opens Saturday, September 7th and plays through Monday, September 30th at 8pm on Saturday and Monday nights with 3pm Sundaymatinees. Please Note: There will be NO Friday night performances of Wolves. Ticket prices are $20.00 for Saturday performances, $15 for Sunday shows, and Monday nights are HALF OFF the original ticket price at only $10 a ticket. All students can now receive a $5 discount off normal ticket price on Saturday, and Sunday performances (available at the box office on the day of the show with valid student ID).
