The Ringwald Theatre is thrilled to announce the creation of two new programs to fill some of those dark nights at the theatre! Dipping its toe into the world of movies and big, fun musicals, The Ringwald brings more alternative entertainment to the stage!

The first of these programs is Screen Plays, staged readings of your favorite movies. Curated by Bryan Lark and Dyan Bailey, this season Screen Plays will present live staged readings of your favorite 80s movies. After two successful previews, the newest Screen Plays offering will be Die Hard, everyone's favorite Christmas movie! Starring Dez Walker as John McClane and Suzan M. Jacokes as Hans Gruber, Die Hard promises lots of holiday fun! Future readings will include Clue, 9-5, Dirty Dancing and others.

Die Hard will perform on Sunday, December 11 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are Pay As You Go.

The second new program is The Ringwald Sings..., featuring concert editions of musicals that The Ringwald normally wouldn't produce, but are on our bucket list. Maybe they're shows that are too big for us, or sentimental favorites of ours for one reason or another, but they're shows we want to share! The first outing will be Annie in Concert. We've always had a soft spot for Annie, and just in time for Christmas, here is our shot. Featuring John DeMerrell as Daddy Warbucks, Lily Czartorski as Annie, and Joe Bailey as Miss Hannigan. Rounding out the cast is Alisa Chirco, Meredith Deighton, Jordan Gagnon, Randi Hamilton, Kevin Kaminski, Vince Kelley, Brandy Joe Plambeck, and Liz Schultz.

Annie in Concert will perform Sunday, December 18 at 7:00 PM.
Tickets are Pay What As You Go.

Look for more The Ringwald Sings... in the near future!

Doors open 45 minutes before show time. The events are Pay as You Go. We invite you to enjoy the performances and show your generosity on your way out in the form of a donation with cash or credit/debit card. The Ringwald Theatre is located at 22742 Woodward Avenue in the Times Square of downtown Ferndale.
