Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter, rapper, producer Trey Songz has announced "The Anticipation 2our" will stop at the Fox Theatre with Detroit rapper and Cass Tech graduate, Big Sean on Friday, February 24 at 8 p.m.

Trey is embarking on this tour in support of his critically acclaimed mixtape series, "ANTICIPATION" and "ANTICIPATION 2," which have been collectively downloaded an astonishing 1 million times. This is all in the wake of Songz proclaiming November of 2011 Angels with Heart Month, his benefit show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and the release of his EP titled, "INEVITABLE."   

Trey Songz debut album, I Gotta Make It, was released in 2005, followed by Trey Day in 2007 and Ready in 2009. Passion, Pain & Pleasure was Trey's follow up to the RIAA gold certified smash, Ready. From the bouncy first single, "Bottoms Up (Feat. Nicki Minaj)" to the chart-topping, record breaking #1 Hip Hop and R&B single, "Can't Be Friends," Passion, Pain & Pleasure was Certified Gold, with over 4 million album tracks sold. The success of Passion, Pain & Pleasure laid the groundwork for Trey's highly anticipated new album Chapter V; which saw the Virginia-based R&B superstar energized and evolving as he continued to refine his mastery of sultry, soulful song craft. 

An assortment of major awards followed, including the prestigious title of "Best Male R&B Artist" at the 2010 BET Awards. That triumph capped an extraordinary year that included touring as both headliner and special guest on Jay-Z's massive "BP3 Tour 2010," numerous TV appearances, and star-studded recording sessions like Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones' new version of "We Are The World," benefiting Haitian earthquake relief organizations. All that and more was documented in Trey's hugely popular docu-series, "My Moment." An unqualified ratings sensation, the 10-part BET documentary provided an exclusive window into Trey's life and career, chronicling everything up to and including the making of the new album. 

Big Sean met Kanye West after a radio interview in 2005 and got a chance to display his talent by freestyling for West. After months of submitting songs and numerous meetings, Sean finally got the call from Kanye West himself saying that he wanted to sign him. Big Sean officially signed to G.O.O.D Music in 2007 and Island Def Jam in 2008. Sean has three mixtapes under his belt, Finally Famous – The Mixtape, UKNOWBIGSEAN – Finally Famous Vol. 2 and Finally Famous Vol. 3: BIG. Sean's hit single "Getcha Some" vastly took over the internet and created major buzz for him and quickly solidified him as a breakout star. The single first debuted on Kanye West's Can't Tell Me Nothin' Mixtape. 

Big Sean released his debut album entitled Finally Famous in June of this year. The album features Hip Hop stars such as ten-time Grammy Award-winning artist Kanye West, Pharrell, The Dream, and many more. "Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay", a song from his debut album featuring Kanye West, gained international recognition after trending worldwide on Twitter in June 2011. Soon after its release, Sean's collaboration with Chris Brown, "My Last" reached number 1 on the Billboard Hip Hop charts. Currently, his new single, "Dance" with Nicki Minaj is blazing the charts.
