The Purple Rose Theater is celebrating 25 years of theatrical triumphs on Saturday July 30. This milestone evening at the historic Clocktower Commons in downtown Chelsea, MI, will connect the theatre's friends, sponsors and artists with founder Jeff Daniels' vision of producing new and classic American plays and providing educational/outreach programs serving diverse communities in the region.

The evening kicks off at 6:30 pm with a signature champagne cocktail and hors d'oeuvres followed by a strolling dinner with fine wines and microbrews. The evening includes classic jazz by the Paul Keller Trio and an artist meet-and-greet.

The highlight will be a special performance, directed by Artistic Director Guy Sanville, which showcases 25 years of the Purple Rose Theatre's memories and premieres. The actors bringing these favorite scenes to life will be the same familiar faces seen by PRTC audiences over the years.

The silent auction will offer one-of-a-kind experiences including a "Hamilton" NYC experience with two tickets to the hottest musical on Broadway and cocktails and dinner with cast members; a flight in a B-25 bomber and tour of the Yankee Air Museum, and a ride in a 1963 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud to dinner at the Jackson Country Club courtesy of the Ganton Family. All guests will receive a commemorative gift autographed by Jeff Daniels.

"We want our friends, sponsors and artists to celebrate this milestone together," said Development Director Gerie Greenspan. "Thank you, Jeff Daniels, for your vision. We are ready for the next 25 years."
