The 'New' McCree Theatre Celebrates Move With 'Open House' 10/1

The "New" McCree Theatre, is inviting the public to share a 3 day relocation celebration and open house. Come out October 1st for neighborhood night or October 2nd and 3rd for the theatre's official grand opening celebration.

The "New" McCree Theatre has now officially relocated its programs to the Urban League of Flint facility at 5005 Cloverlawn at Pierson Rd., Flint. According to Charles Winfrey, Executive Director of the theatre, the theatre is eager to show off its new space.

The celebration will include tours of the new space, art displays, snacks, refreshments, fun for the family, and of course, a performance of the new musical, Hangin' Out. Festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. each night, with an 8:00 p.m. curtain time for Hangin' Out.

The "New" McCree Theatre, 5005 Cloverlawn, Flint, has announced the kick-off of its subscription campaign for the 2009-2010 Season. Season tickets are $40.00 for adults and $30.00 for students and senior citizens. They can be purchased at the theatre or from any McCree Theatre staff or Board member starting today.
