The Mall At Partridge Creek to turn into Winter Wonderland, 11/13

The Mall at Partridge Creek will light up the holiday season at 7 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010. Santa, led by the Detroit Pistons illustrious drumline, will help transform the shopping center into a magical winter wonderland when he turns on the tree lights at the mall's annual tree lighting ceremony.

Partridge Creek's Center Court will be the focal point of the event where a majestic 42-foot tree will light up the sky. Guests will be given free Glitter Wands, courtesy of The Mall at Partridge Creek (while supplies last), to help Santa make the evening glow. More than 300,000 twinkling lights will also be illuminated, showcasing the shopping center's breathtakingly beautiful holiday décor. Starting at 6:30, the Michigan Opera Theatre will set the tone for the evening with an enchanting holiday music performance.

Guests will not only get a jump on holiday shopping, but may also take pictures with Santa inside Parisian (bring cameras, please) until 9 p.m. Take a break and get cozy near the Center Court's 30-foot fireplace and enjoy delicious apple cider and donuts provided by Nino Salvaggio (while supplies last).
