The Berman Center for the Performing Arts is pleased to welcome 10-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 25 in Tommy Tune Tonite! Tickets (starting at $63) are on sale now at theberman.org.

Broadway's tallest tapper takes to the stage with dancing, singing and tale telling. Tune takes an autobiographical stroll, celebrating 50-plus years of showmanship. Michael Biagi, Tune's music director for nearly four decades, accompanies this Broadway legend for an evening of unforgettable music featuring Tune's renditions of standards by Irving Berlin, Kurt Weill, Cole Porter, Johnny Mercer, Burt Bacharach, the Gershwins, Carole King, Green Day and more.

As one of the country's most prolific artists, Tune has not only received 10 Tony Awards, which includes the 2015 Tony for Life Achievement in the Theatre, but he has also received The National Medal of Arts, eight Drama Desk Awards, three Astaire Awards, and multiple lifetime achievement awards, including the Society of Directors and the Choreographers' George Abbott Award.

In addition to Tommy Tune Tonite! at The Berman August 25, Tune will take part in a private performance for The Friends of The Berman Gala from 6:30-10:30 p.m. August 24, the night before his show.

The Friends of The Berman Gala features a 6:30 p.m. cocktail hour, followed by a dinner served right in the theater.
