SIRS Makes An Encore; Jacokes Brothers are Silent Too at Go Comedy

Go Comedy! Improv Theater will host the triumphant return of the Planet Ant Theatre's 2009 summer hit comedy, SIRS as well as Silent Too, the sequel to the Go Comedy! original production Silent which premiered in July 2009. Both shows will play on Thursday nights at 8pm & 9pm followed by the improvised show Flight 1977 August 5-26. SIRS
A late-night hit at the Planet Ant Theater in summer 2009, Sirs returns for a limited encore engagement at Go Comedy! Improv Theater - every Thursday in August at 8pm.

Bill Schlepke, Dennis Broyles and Ben Mills are simple men. They are your fathers, uncles and neighbors: They love their cars. They love lake life. They love Seger. They are Sirs. But when new neighbor Alan Reynolds dares to bring his Stella Artois lifestyle to Stroh's territory, the Sirs fight to preserve their pure Michigan.

Directed by Lauren Bickers (Ferndale), Sirs originally premiered in May 2009 as part of Planet Ant Theater's Late Night Series. The one-act comedy was written by Garrett Fuller (Westland), Michael Hovitch, Bryan Lark and Jamen Spitzer (All of Ferndale). Sirs received a 2009 Wilde Award nomination for Best Improv, Cabaret or Original Production. The 2010 version of Sirs features a revised script and new sets by Go Comedy's Tommy LeRoy (Ferndale).

Silent Too
Pete and Pj Jacokes will prove that they have what it takes to make you laugh by never saying a word. Pete Jacokes started it last summer with the Wilde Award-nominated original show: Silent. Now Pj Jacokes joins the show in this hilarious sequel Silent Too. It's one act, two guys and no talking. Silent Too is written by Pj & Pete Jacokes and directed by Michelle LeRoy, all of Ferndale.
