The Maggie Allesee Department of Theatre and Dance at Wayne State University, with support from the Dean of Students Office, hosts the third annual Zombie Parade on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017. This ghoulish tradition invites students and community members to zombify themselves and parade through campus and midtown in anticipation of Halloween.

>From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Hilberry Theatre, theatre and dance faculty and students will offer a workshop where soon-to-be zombies get help with makeup, decorate t-shirts, and learn choreography for Michael Jackson's "Thriller". Participants may join the workshop at any time between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. Makeup and t-shirts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis until they run out.

The macabre march begins at 6 p.m., traveling roughly 1.25 miles through campus and Midtown before returning to the Hilberry Theatre for an after party from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Those interested in becoming temporarily undead can learn more and RSVP at https://www.theatreanddanceatwayne.com/zombie. RSVP is encouraged but not required.
