Emily Ackerman and KJ Sanchez's thought-provoking play REENTRY comes to life in a staged reading live at Wharton Center. REENTRY tells the stories of soldiers who go off to war and the hardships faced by service members and their loved ones. Adapted from real stories from soldiers and their families.
Directed and produced by Bert Goldstein, Director of MSU Federal Credit Union Institute for Arts and Creativity, and starring David Dunckel, a Lansing veteran, performing alongside other mid-Michigan actors who portray these powerful characters live onstage. REENTRY is for audiences 16 and up, containing strong language and intense themes that may not be appropriate for young audience members. A discount on tickets will be available for Active Duty Military and Veterans.
Stiggy's Dogs, a nonprofit organization, will have comfort dogs in the lobby before, during, and after performances for any audience members emotionally overwhelmed by the imagery.
