Headliner Kirk Franklin will be Bringing It Home for the Holidays! For nearly two decades now, Kirk Franklin has been a multi-platinum-selling purveyor of majestic fusions of gospel and contemporary music, and a mirror of Christian humanity boldly reflecting what one faith walking man can accomplish when he focuses on God and taps deep into the gifts He gives. Franklin is a pioneer in gap-bridging musicianship, uniting audiences across gospel, hip hop, pop and R&B. His irresistible rhythms and rhapsodies have resulted in albums that consistently top both Billboard's Gospel and Christian charts, as well as ascend triumphantly into the Top 10 of the R&B/Hip Hop chart. Franklin is also the host and executive producer of the gospel talent show "Sunday Best," the highest-rated gospel program in BET network history now heading into its sixth season. To date, the trendsetter has garnered nine GRAMMY Awards, 39 Stellar Awards, 16 Dove Awards (CCM), eight NAACP Image Awards, two BET Awards, an American Music Award, a Soul Train Award and numerous others.
Duo, Mary Mary has quickly become one of the most successful artists in the urban/inspirational/crossover markets. Since their 2000 debut release they have garnered four GRAMMY Awards, two American Music Awards, three NAACP Awards, two BET Awards, a Soul Train Award, an ASCAP Golden Note Award, and several Dove & Stellar Awards. The chart-topping duo has sold more than 5 million career albums. Their highly successful original scripted television series was ranked the #1 show for African American women in their timeslot on cable. Their self-titled series on WEtv is currently in its 3rd Season.
Michigan's own Marvin Sapp has grown rapidly over the last five years. Eight-time GRAMMY Award nominated singer Marvin Sapp has experienced some of the highest heights and the lowest depths a man can face. After two decades as a respected Gospel artist, Sapp burst to superstar status on the heels of his 2007 radio smash, Never Would Have Made It, which beat out hits by The Beatles and Elvis Presley to hold the record as the longest #1 single at radio (43 weeks) in the history of the Billboard charts. Not only did it hit the top spot on the Hot Gospel Songs and Adult R&B Airplay charts, but it also became the first Gospel song to sell a million digital downloads. His follow-up CD, Here I Am, released in 2010, made further history as the highest Top 200 chart debut by a Gospel artist ever when it came in at #2 with over 76,000 in first week sales.
