A one act character-study, One Cat Away From Sixty-One glimpses into the life of a middle-aged woman as she, at the behest of her sister, begins therapy to cope with a recent loss. Written by Rikki Schwartz (Waterford) and directed by the audience favorite winner of Box Fest 2015, Tricia Turek (Novi), One Cat Away From Sixty-One is an intimate examination of love, adultery... and a cat. Featuring JM Ethridge (Eastpointe) and Kez Settle (Clawson) performances are at 9:00pm Friday and Saturday evenings January 15-30. Improv Mondays The Planet Ant Improv Colony has generated over twenty original comedies and continues to perform every Monday night in Michigan's longest-running improv comedy show - Improv Mondays. At 8:00 pm the show kicks off with a guest improv troupe followed by a performance by Planet Ant's resident Home Team. The night closes with The Ant Jam, an opportunity for anyone to improvise on the Planet Ant stage. Tickets are $5 at the door.
