Flint Repertory Theatre presents "THE LITTLE PRINCE," by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, Based on the book by Antoine De Saint-Exupery. Performing now through Sunday December 23. Tickets are currently on sale.
In the middle of the Sahara Desert, a stranded aviator meets the Little Prince, who hails from a small, faraway asteroid. Their dreamlike journey unfolds across a universe sparking our imaginations along the way. The Little Prince teaches the aviator how to laugh, cry, and love again. This holiday classic for all ages, reminds us "It is only with the heart that one can see rightly."
This new physical theatre version of the play, based on the enduring French Children's book, is directed by Alex Bodine and features Scenic Design by Andrew Licout, Costume Design by Adam Dill (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe), Lighting Design by Alexander Ridgers (Last Stop on Market Street), Sound Design by Tom Whalen (Flint).
The cast includes: Emily Hart-Lopez, Dalton Hartwell (The Geranium on the Windowsill Just Died But Teacher You Went Right On),Joshua Popa and Brandon A. Wright (The Wiz).
Performances are: Friday, December 14 at 7:00pm, Saturday, December 15 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, Sunday, December 16 at 2:00pm. Friday, December 21 at 7:00pm, Saturday, December 22 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm, Sunday, December 23 at 2:00pm.
Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for teens & seniors and $8 for college students (College Student Rush Rate with valid I.D., one hour prior to a performance).
