Performance Network’s fund raising event, to be held on March 24th at 6pm at Kensington Court Hotel, will be an evening of "entertainment and imagination as the theatre celebrates its 30 year growth in Ann Arbor and recognizes some of its biggest stars found on and off the stage with its Angel of the Arts Award."

The recipients of the theatre’s 2012 Award for contributions to the theatre will be Bob and Marina Whitman, underwriters of such productions as “Ain’t Misbehavin’” and “The Seafarer” as well as actor/writer/director Malcolm Tulip, a familiar face to many Network audiences.

In addition to the Angel of the Arts Ceremony, the 30th Anniversary Gala will include a seated dinner, live and silent auctions to highlight all that our local community has to offer, and a musical retrospective featuring performers John Seibert, Jennifer Joy, Brian Thibault and more. The evening will be hosted by Scott Crownover, star of such productions as “The Drowsy Chaperone” and “The Fantasticks.”

Auction lots include packages from UMS, the Ann Arbor Symphony, Motawi Tileworks, Selo/Shevel Gallery, Abracadabra, Vie Fitness and Spa, and Polo Fields. In addition to these Ann Arbor institutions, auction lots will include tickets to Ontario’s Shakespeare and Shaw Festivals, an Inn stay at Bay Harbor and a suite at the Hilton Club in NYC.

Honorary co-chairs for the 30th Anniversary Gala include long-time supporters Barbara Bach, Nan & Bill Conlin, Leslie Desmond & Phil Stoffregen, Naz Edwards & Jim Adams and Ann & Thomas Schriber.

Individuals tickets for the event are $100, or $125 if purchased after March 3. Sponsorship and Ambassadorship opportunities are available at a variety of price points, and more information can be found at www.performancenetwork.org.

Tickets can be purchased on the web, over the phone at 734-663-0681 or at the theatre’s box office at 120 E. Huron St., Ann Arbor, 48104.

Kensington Court is located at 610 Hilton Blvd., Ann Arbor, 48108.
