PNT To Host Mosaic Youth Theatre 4/24

Performance Network Theatre presents "Speak for Yourself! Young Detroiters Talk about Race" on Saturday, April 24 at 12pm. This all-ages show, in collaboration with the Michigan Youth and Community Program and The Children's Theatre Network, will be followed by a short post-show discussion with trained moderators from the University of Michigan. Free refreshments will be available following the performance.

"Speak for Yourself!" presents a mosaic of different voices -- Arab, Asian, African, European and Latin American teenagers -- engaged in an honest dialogue with the audience about racial stereotypes in Detroit. The play imagines a future where people accept one another, not on the basis of race, but on the strength of understanding, tolerance and mutual respect.
