Performance Network Theatre is currently accepting applications for three young professionals to embark on the year-long Theatre Apprentice Program by sending an e-mail before March 31, 2013 to logan@performancenetwork.org (application guidelines are provided at performancenetwork.org).
Hard-working college graduates interested in launching a professional career at a nationally respected, professional Equity theatre are invited to apply. The available positions will have negotiable start dates.
This comprehensive apprenticeship gives real-world experience in arts management and production, significant networking opportunities in the professional theatre community, and defining resume credits. The program is designed for individuals who are interested in launching a career in Arts Management, Marketing, Fundraising, Development, Theatrical Design, Technical Direction or Stage Management. Apprentices spend a portion of their time as an Assistant Stage Manager, which earns points toward an Actors' Equity card.
Apprentices work a minimum of 50 hours per week and are paid a $300 weekly stipend to defray living costs.
