New McCree Neighborhood Nights Kick Off With A New Musical

Our neighbors in the area immediately surrounding the New McCree Theatre will have two performances of the theatre's upcoming musical dedicated to them. The theatre's staff is dubbing its preview performances, February 12 and 13, 2010 at 8:00 p.m. as Neighborhood Nights. Anyone living in the West Pierson Road-Cloverlawn Drive area will have the privilege of two-for-one admission for those performances. To qualify for that special admission rate, however, our neighbors must present the coupon in this newsletter or a similar coupon they will receive at their homes. Qualifying neighbors will receive deep discounts by attending neighborhood night performances and displaying their coupons. Admission rates for preview performances are already reduced by 33 1/3% below regular admission rates, $10.00 for adults, and $6.00 for students and senior citizens. With the two-for-one admission, each adult can be admitted for $5.00

The New McCree Theatre is presenting the original musicalLet Nobody Turn Me 'Round, written and directed by Reuben Yabuku,(who is best known in the Flint area for the stellar directorial effort he put forth in the musical, Purlie) February 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, and March 4, 5,and 6. There are 8:00 p.m. performances on each of those dates, with a 3:00 p.m. matinee on each Saturday except Saturday, February 13. Regular advance admission is $12.00 for adults and $7.00 for students and senior citizens, at-the-door admission is $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and senior citizens. Group rates are available for groups of 15 or more.
