Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts will host its first-ever Mystique Masquerade on Friday, October 30, starting at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the benefit will be going directly to the continued improved of the theater.
Music Hall, the historic 1928 landmark, will be completely transformed into a vibrant world of mystery and intrigue where Mystique takes inspiration from Marie Antoinette, Casanova, Phantom of the Opera, and Eyes Wide Shut, provides the seductive inspiration.
Don a mask a stroll through the 20,000 square-foot theater with additional space created by covering the seating with flooring and added outdoor tent. Take in the theater's gilded architecture, softly lit chandeliers, historical hum and sensual surroundings. Enjoy hushed music and mouth-watering cuisine provided by Detroit's top restaurants and bars, including Mosaic, Mezza Grille, Tre Monti, Grille 24 and Vincentes Cuban Cuisine.Watch unique performances by burlesque artist Lily LaRue and top bands and DJs - sponsored by Hard Rock Café - including BUMP, the Nice Band, Doc Woodward and the Band, Crown Heads of Rhythm, DJ Captn20 and DJ Dan Haddad.
