MotorCity Casino Hotel to Welcome Back The Whispers to Sound Board, 2/11

One of the original members of The Whispers, Nicholas Caldwell passed away on January 5. Caldwell performed with the group in 2015 at Sound Board, but his touring was limited since then.

The Whispers will perform and honor Caldwell on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 8:00p.m at Sound Board.

The Whispers, one of R&B music's most beloved and consistently popular vocal groups, produced a string of hits over four decades and emerged as the leading romantic singers of their generation. The group received seven Gold Albums and two Platinum Albums. They also received the 2005 Regional Grammy Governors Award and a 2002 NAACP Image Award. In 2003 The Whispers were inducted into The Vocal Group Hall of Fame. Detroit's own Family of Faith Choir will open for The Whispers.
