The Four Tops is a vocal quartet that has remained together for over four decades. Their extensive repertoire includes doo-wop, jazz, soul, R&B, disco, adult contemporary and show tunes. The group, formed in Detroit, was one of a number of groups that helped define the Motown Sound of the 1960's. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999 and received The Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the 51st Annual Grammy Awards. In 2004, Rolling Stone Magazine ranked them #79 on their list of the 100 Greatest Artists of all Time.
