"In Singsation!, Mosaic singers captures the heart of the city and keeps the feeling of funk
and soul music alive," said Mosaic Founder Rick Sperling. "Our righteous choral concerts
will celebrate rich culture across various platforms of combined voices and will pay tribute to
the 100th anniversary of freedom songs from the southern civil rights movement. With tight
harmonies, passionate delivery, fabulous dance moves and a live band, Mosaic will spotlight
history with renditions of music written by Allee Willis who wrote great songs for Earth, Wind
and Fire and the Queen of Soul, Detroit native, Aretha Franklin."
It is a privilege and a honor to support the Mosaic Singers in the 2013 production of Singsation, said Barbara Ward, Regional Marketing Manager for Pepsi Bottling, our support of Mosaic Youth Theatre is just one of the ways we invest in youth development.
