Miller Auditorium's 2017-18 Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan Series Announced

Miller Auditorium has announced its 2017-18 Zhang Financial Broadway in West Michigan Series. Anchoring the series is a two-week engagement of DISNEY'S THE LION KING from April 4-15, 2018. Miller will also host KINKY BOOTS, THE WIZARD OF OZ and THE SOUND OF MUSIC during the 2017-18 season.

Miller Auditorium's 2017-18 Lake Michigan Mailers Spotlight Series events will be announced at a later date, along with single ticket on sale dates.

Renewing subscribers receive the first opportunity to keep their existing seats-and to add seats to 2017-18 Lake Michigan Mailers Spotlight Series events as soon as they are announced. 2017-18 season prices start at just $36 per show and monthly payment plans are available for orders turned in by June 1.

There truly is no place like home as the greatest family musical of all time, the wonderful WIZARD OF OZ, twists its way into Kalamazoo! The entire family will be captivated as they travel down the Yellow Brick Road and beyond with Dorothy, Toto and their friends the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow in this lavish production, featuring breathtaking special effects, dazzling choreography and classic songs. THE SOUND OF MUSIC: Feb. 9-11, 2018

THE HILLS ARE ALIVE! A brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC is coming to Miller Auditorium. The beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its Tony®, Grammy® and Academy Award® winning Best Score, including "My Favorite Things,""Edelweiss" and the title song. THE SOUND OF MUSIC features music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse, suggested by "The Trapp Family Singers" by Maria Augusta Trapp. THE SOUND OF MUSIC enjoyed extraordinary success as a live television production when "The Sound of Music Live!" aired on NBC in December, 2013 and was seen by over 44 million people. 2015 marked the 50th anniversary of the film version, which continues to be the most successful movie musical in history.
