Ghouls, goblins and ghosts beware – East Lansing is in for a scare. This October, in coordination with its student organization the Society of Performers and Arts Management (S.P.A.M.)*, MSU Department of Theatre presents the fourth annual Haunted Aud! An experience which promises to be frighteningly theatrical, guests will venture through the remnants of its haunted theatre, bearing witness to the terrors of long tormented spirits. The Aud will open its doors for three nights only, running from October 26 through October 28.
Many who have walked the darkened corridors of the Auditorium claim to have heard the muffled screams and
faint whispers of the spirits who continue to roam the great halls at all hours of the night. Former Department of Theatre Chairman, Dr. George F. Peters shares, "For over sixty years MSU Theatre students and Faculty have known the Auditorium is haunted." This coming Halloween weekend marks the fourth year the public will have the opportunity to experience for themselves the horror of the Haunted Aud.
The Haunted Aud initiative is more than mere entertainment. All proceeds will be used to assist student organizations and initiatives.
The appeal of this event to such a broad demographic allows the Department of Theatre to have even greater engagement with the East Lansing and surrounding communities.
Don't miss the chance to visit the scariest place in East Lansing this Halloween. It's sure to be a scream.
