Meadow Brook Theatre Presents NO STRINGS ATTACHED

Meadow Brook Theatre's 2009-2010 season interns proudly present two one act shows that are sure to keep audience members rolling in the aisles. This uproarious evening starts off with Puppet Play by Robert "Bo" Anderson. Big D is the successful star of a children's puppet show, yet his inability to cope with his emerging identity crisis puts the show in jeopardy. Similarly Mark's inability to acknowledge his feelings for Tina puts their relationship in peril. Will everyone own up to their true feelings and faults or will they continue to be society's puppets?

The Macbridged Mactragedy of Macbeth by Klaire Pearson is the second installment of this great fun-filled evening. Actors and technicians collide in this zany comedy. Six young theatre professionals are forced to perform an abridged version of Shakespeare's classic tragedy Macbeth. How abridged? Very abridged. This off-the-wall take on classic drama is sure to make Shakespeare bearable for even the most contemporary audience.

No Strings Attached features the various talents and skills of Meadow Brook Theatre's 2009-2010 interns. Alex Pedica (Acting Intern) and Becky J. Doster (Administration Intern) direct Puppet Play and The Macbridged Mactragedy of Macbeth, respectively. Casey Rebecca Nunes (Stage Management Intern) is the stage manager. Scenic design is by Casey S. Hibbert (Scene Shop Intern), costume design by Erin Benjamin (Costume Shop Intern), lighting design by Becky J. Doster, sound design by Eric B. Niece (Properties Intern), and properties by Casey Rebecca Nunes and Casey S. Hibbert.

Tickets are free and available at the door. A donation is recommended and all proceeds go to Meadow Brook Theatre.
