Magenta Giraffe Theatre Company today announced its second annual Special Skills Talent Show fundraiser. The show will be hosted by Two Muses Theatre, inside the West Bloomfield Barnes and Noble (6800 Orchard Lake Rd, West Bloomfield, MI 48322, south of Maple Rd.) on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. The entrance fee for performers is $10, with audience admission on a donation basis. Prizes will be awarded to winners in several categories.

Actors all have that section on their résumés: SPECIAL SKILLS. Impersonations, martial arts, singing, playing musical instruments, dancing, juggling, gymnastics, ventriloquism, dialects… Actors can do all kinds of things, but how often do they get to show them off? Well, now’s your chance!

The Special Skills Talent Show is open to any theatre artist with a unique talent he or she would like to exhibit! Prizes of gift certificates to local theatres and businesses will be awarded to the winners of an audience vote in the following categories:

Most Unique
Most Impractical
Most Inappropriate in the Workplace
Most Time Consuming
Most Likely to Go Wrong
Most Likely to See in Las Vegas
Most Enviable
