The Madonna Dance party keeps getting bigger. Following immediate one day sellouts in many of the major markets of Madonna's tour, Live Nation Entertainment has announced that the world tour will now stop in Detroit at Joe Louis Arena on Thursday, November 8 at 8 p.m.
Tickets ($48, $93 and $173) go on sale Monday, March 19 at 10 a.m. at OlympiaEntertainment.com, LiveNation.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. In North America, advance interest was so great that second shows were announced in New York, Los Angeles, San Jose, Toronto, Chicago, Miami and Vancouver – all of which are on-sale now. The sell outs follow Madonna's historic performance at the Bridgestone Super Bowl Half Time, which was the largest viewed halftime performance in the history of the Super Bowl reaching 47.1 million households, along with pre orders for the Material Girl's upcoming MDNA album which reached the No. 1 spot in 50 out of 51 markets on iTunes.
