Slipstream is bursting at the seams to launch a new season with a vehicle (or a vehicular as in HoverRound) for the acclaimed Richard Payton! December kicks off the company's third season with Lady Bracknell Presents: Grimm Brothers Fairy Tales. Mr. Payton will reprise his hilarious role of Lady Bracknell from Slipstream's production of The Importance of Being Earnest to sit by a fireplace, drinking loads of holiday wine and retelling some of the greatest (and most disturbing) fairy tales of all time.

It wouldn't be Slipstream without some twists and turns, of course. The tales will be acted out by favorite characters from the company's previous seasons. As Lady Bracknell tells the story of Cinderella, the audience may just see Hamlet playing the title role with DorIan Gray playing Prince Charming, Puck playing the Fairy Godmother, and so forth. Utilizing all of the company members, Lady Bracknell and the audience will decide who plays what each night, as well as which tales are told. Some audience members may even get the opportunity to play a part...if they can keep up with Payton's unparalleled witty spur-of-the-moment repartee.

Cast members will revolve nightly, and will include Egla Kishta, Luna Alexander, Kaitlyn Valor Bourque, Ryan Ernst, Bailey Boudreau, Graham Todd, Laura Heikkinen, Victoria Rose Weatherspoon, Jackson Abohasira, Patrick Flanagan, Steve Xander Carson, Daniel Miller, Tiaja Sabrie, Grace Jolliffe, Miles Bond, and more.

Slipstream hopes to make this a new holiday tradition, so join them in celebrating a new season, a new direction, and be sure to attend the "Holiday Office Party" themed fundraiser to match their recently awarded MCACA grant on December 28th ! Information for the fundraiser and the show can be found on the newly improved website.

The production runs Dec 1st through Dec 18th . Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 pm, Sundays at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $12 in advance only and available via www.slipstreamti.com. Slipstream Theatre Initiative is located at 460 Hilton in Ferndale.
