Improv Festival Comes to Go Comedy! 8/10-14

Go Comedy! Improv Theater, is excited to announce the complete schedule for Spontaneous Combustion Motor City - Detroit's improv festival. The five day festival is presented by Go Comedy! Improv Theater and The Basement Theatre and sponsored by Hungry Howies. Festival events will take place at Go Comedy! Improv Theater August 10-14 featuring more than 18 performances in 8 hilarious shows. Tickets for ($15-$20) are available online at www.gocomedy.net, www.spontaneouscombustionmotorcity.com, or in person and by calling the Go Comedy! box office (248) 327-0575 after 6pm Wednesday - Sunday evenings.

In addition to hilarious performances, Spontaneous Combustion Motor City will feature workshops taught by some of the best instructors from around the country, as well as a complimentary screening of the Del Close documentary The Delmonic Interviews, and opportunities to party with the funniest people in Detroit.

The Basement Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Atlanta, GA with a mission to provide laughter, learning, entertainment and enlightenment through spontaneous improvisational theatre to audiences in Atlanta and throughout the world, with a strong commitment to the community. Open since 2004, The Basement Theatre has grown from a small blackbox theatre to host a full training center for improvisation, stand up comedy, and acting.
