Meadow Brook Theatre continues to provide children's entertainment for the 9th season. Beginning in October of 2016, the theatre will present 6 shows for children!

Saturday, October 22 at 1 PM, Guy Louis is back by popular demand with Guy Louis' Halloween Monster Mash! Join (friendly) Dracula for a rockin' Halloween bash with a cast of happy ghouls and the best costumes this side of Transylvania. This is a family friendly event for all ages. Costumes not required but encouraged! There will be a costume contest!

Saturday, February 11 at 10 AM and 1 PM, it's the The Theatreworks USA production of Junie B. Jones Essential Survival Guide. Now that Junie B. Jones has been going to school for over one-and-a-half years, who better to write the book on EVERYTHING you need to know? With a jillion tips, tricks and trip-ups, Junie B. shares her hard-won expertise and shows us all how school is sometimes scary, sometimes super-fun, and ALWAYS something to sing about!

Patrick Garner's History's Alive returns Friday, March 3 at 10 AM with two great shows! Thomas Edison Inventor, Lecturer & Prankster and Benjamin Franklin, America's First Citizen. First, Mr. Edison delivers an informal, fun-filled lecture about his life, his inventions and the lessons those inventions taught him. Then America's favorite founding father, Benjamin Franklin, comes alive to demonstrate how a life of self-discipline, inquiry, public service and a genuine love of life led to international fame and the gratitude of an entire nation! The ArtsPower Production of Anne of Green Gables takes the stage Saturday May 6 at 1 PM. Matthew Cuthbert and his sister Marilla need a boy to help with the chores around their farm on Prince Edward Island. They are not expecting Anne Shirley, a vivacious orphan with a wild imagination and a breathless fascination to find a place she can call home. ArtsPower's heart-warming musical, based on Lucy Maud Montgomery's beloved novels, follows Anne on her unlikely journey to find the family she's always wanted.

June brings a two-show day and two beloved classics to MBT with Bright Star Touring Theatre's productions of The Velveteen Rabbit at 10 AM and Alice and Wonderland at 1 PM.
