Go U! Welcomes Creative Students for Improv Summer Fun

Next month Go Comedy!'s Go U! The Improv Academy will welcome imaginative kids for four weeks of improv day camps. Classes for elementary, middle and high school students will take place daily at Go Comedy! Improv Theatre July 7 - August 1. Registration ($150-$275) is available now online at www.gocomedy.net.

Go U! The Improv Academy is excited to welcome students going into grades 4-12 for kids camps throughout the month of July. Each week-long class focuses on improv basics and performance games with an emphasis on listening, teamwork and support. At the end of the week, students will perform a free show for their family and friends.

Camps are available in three different levels: students entering grades 4-6 (Elementary); students entering grades 7-8 (Middle School); and students entering grades 9-12 (High School). Full day and Half day sessions are available for each camp. Registration is available online at www.gocomedy.net for the following camps:

High School students entering grades 9-12: July 7-11
Middle School students entering grades 7-8: July 14-18
Elementary School students entering grades 4-6: July 21-25
Middle School students entering grades 7-8: July 28 - August 1

Tuition for half-day sessions (9:00am - 12:00pm) is $150 and tuition for full-day sessions (9:00am - 3:30pm) is $275.

For five years, Go U! The Improv Academy at Go Comedy! has trained hundreds of Detroiters in the art of improvisation.
