Birth Of A Ho' Ass Nation
In the one man show, Birth of a Ho' Ass Nation, Jacob Russell takes you on an hilarious history based journey through the sometimes egregious, sometimes inspiring, American black experience. A bamboozling slave trader, deadbeat founding fathers, and a friendly African lion all help bring this "real ass" story to life. Birth of a Ho' Ass Nation highlights ALL the history you ho's were miseducated on. This show previews Thursday, February 23 at 9:00 pm with an official opening Thursday, March 2 at 10:00 pm with performances Thursday nights in March.

Date Night
An improvised romantic comedy that follows the unfolding story of a first date. Each night the cast reads an anonymous pair of real life dating ads from craigslist and creates a featured 'couple' inspired by the ads. Will they fall in love or will it fall apart? Date Night follows an opening improv set by the improv troupe, The Primetime Players.

The Interviewees An off the cuff talk show featuring interviews with five guest characters played by one improviser. Each interview will inspire a whirlwind of improvised scenes from an outstanding ensemble.

Musical The Improv
With just a suggestion or two from the audience, the Musical The Improv cast creates original musical scenes and stories.

Name This Show
Go Comedy! presents a free long-form improv set featuring cast members from Friday & Saturday night's shows to close out the evening. The audience names the show and the cast creates the material on-the-spot starting around 11:45pm Friday and Saturday evenings. Free.

Pandemonia
More improv than you can shake an invisible stick at! 12 comedians vie for laughs, love and points to see who can be the last one standing through a series of comedic scenes, songs, and even party games. Audience suggestions pave the way for a wild night of improv comedy. Not to be missed! Pandemonia features a rotating cast with Dana Arcicovich, Sheevani Desai, Chris Fortin, Kathryn Gonsoir, Eric Haenke, Josh Hamilton, Lisa Jacokes, Doug Kolbicz, Tim Lally, Charlie Matt, Katie McGraw, Aaron Mondry, Maggie O'Reilly, Nicole Pascaretta, Matt Penridge, Jeff Smyk, Mitch Socia, and Tamara White.

The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown
The theater's signature show continues to be The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown which has played on Friday and Saturday nights continually for eight years. Featuring members of Go Comedy!'s resident company, The All Star Showdown puts two teams of improvisers in an improv competition tailored to challenge their abilities, think on their feet and give audiences a roaring good time. The cast also plays for audience members who take home fabulous prizes when their team wins. It's a night of hilarious laughs and great times!

Eight-years of original comedy
In the fall of 2008 the former Ferndale Secretary of State office was transformed into Go Comedy! Improv Theater - a catalyst for hundreds of original shows, a robust improv academy, and an incubator for innovation, inspiration and integrity. Today, Go Comedy! is home for hundreds of improvisers, at least 50 improv troupes, and a weekly schedule of hilarious award-winning programming that has garnered local and national recognition.
