Go Comedy! has announced the first "best of" sketch show, an improvised re-imagining of the Kurt Vonnegut classic Slaughterhouse-Five, and an original production from Go U! The Improv Academy graduates. Tickets ($5-$15) are on sale now online at www.gocomedy.net or in person at the Go Comedy! box office beginning at 6:00pm Wednesday through Sunday evening. A complete performance schedule follows this release.

Best of Go Comedy!
Go Comedy! is excited and honored to present its first ever "best of" show. With more than four years of original sketches, the Go Comedy! team lead by director Chris DiAngelo presents The Best of Go Comedy!, a 90-minute presentation of the theater's most hilarious sketches. The show features Joey Dombrowski, Michelle Giorlando, Suzie Jacokes, Matt Naas, Jeremy St. Martin, and Alison Tomak. Tickets are $15 for 8:00pm performances Friday evenings March 1-29.

Laughterhouse-Five
Go Comedy! has teamed up with The Ferndale Library's Ferndale Reads program to present Laughterhouse-Five, an improvised re-imagining of the Kurt Vonnegut classic Slaughterhouse-Five. Billy Pilgrim has become unstuck in time and jumps to different points in his life. He has no control over where or when he goes. Both hilarious and poignant, Billy revisits moments in his life of love and death, youth and family, war and aliens. Join Billy as he learns that the world is just a collection of moments, all strung together in beautiful random order. Laugherhouse-Five is directed by Gary Lehman and features Jenny Bloomer, AaRon Johnstone, James Quesada, Andy Seiler, and Bob Wieck. Tickets are $10 for 8:00pm performances Thursday evenings March 7 - 28. Tickets are only $5 in person at the box office when you present your library card.

Unsweetened Valley High
Go U! The Improv Academy's Advance 5 class is proud to present their third original sketch revue Unsweetened Valley High Thursday evenings at 9:00pm March 7-28. Unsweetened Valley High examines a life unsweetened by tackling some of it's hardest questions - How do you handle your child outsmarting you? Are you ever too old to fall in love again? Does Walmart have a policy on how to greet the undead? The answers to these questions play out in a wide-ranging series of fun and unexpectedly heart-felt scenes. Directed by Jen Hansen with assistance from Travis Pelto, Unsweetened Valley High is written by and features Bill Tebo, LIsa Jacokes, Amy Purcell, Thelma Briggs, Nathan Hughes, Nate Hudson, Chris Moody and Amber Hunt. Tickets are $10.

Continuing Shows

The OffBeats
The three most prolific beat poets the world has never known embark on a journey for inspiration and acceptance. Guided by calls of destiny, Bram (Joe Hingleberg), Mac (Travis Pelto) and Karl (James Quesada) with Bart Ender (Ryan Parmenter) find themselves somewhere between harmony and dissonance in The OffBeats - Go Comedy!'s newest late night show. Written by the cast and directed by Lauren Bickers with stage management by Peter Jacokes, The OffBeats appears Thursday nights at 10:00pm through April 4. Tickets are $10.

Go Comedy! All Star Showdown
With a rotating cast of more than 20 of Detroit's best improvisers and a repertoire of hundreds of improv games, Go Comedy!'s signature show, The Go Comedy! All Star Showdown celebrated its fourth anniversary in November. The Go Comedy!
