The holidays have never been more twisted and hilarious then when Who Wants Cake? brings Ryan Landry's hysterical holiday spoof, Silent Night of the Lambs, to the Detroit area. Opening on Friday, November 25th, Silent Night of the Lambs, will play for an exclusive 4 week run at Ferndale's Ringwald Theatre.

A twisted take on two classic tales, Silent Night of the Lambs mixes one part thriller (The Silence of the Lambs) and one part holiday TV special (Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer) to create a twisted recipe. Rudolph's daughter Clarice (Melissa Beckwith) is all grown-up. She's an FBI agent on the biggest case of her life: a serial killer called The Skinner is killing off tiny boys with crutches and little girls who sell matches. To enter the mind of this serial killer Clarice must challenge the mind of another madman- a fat, jolly, bowlful of jelly madman (played by Dave Davies). With his help can she find The Skinner before he kills again without losing her sanity?

Silent Night of the Lambs opens Friday, November 25th and plays through Monday, December 19th at 8pm on Friday, Saturday and Monday nights with 3pm Sunday matinees.

Ticket prices are $20.00 for Friday and Saturday performances, $15 for Sunday shows, and Monday nights are HALF OFF the original ticket price at only $10 a ticket. Tickets can be purchased at www.TheRingwald.com or at the theatre box office. The Ringwald box office opens 45 minutes before performances and tickets can be purchased with cash or Visa/Mastercard.

Who Wants Cake? opened the doors to their resident home, The Ringwald, in May of 2007 with Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy. Quickly, The Ringwald became a mainstay of Detroit's theatre community. Since opening their doors, Who Wants Cake? has been offering up slice after slice of successful shows including Evil Dead: The Musical, The Facts of Life: The Lost Episode, Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, The Bad Seed, The Book of Liz, Rent, Sordid Lives: It's a Drag! and Thank You for Being a Friend. Who Wants Cake? was named 2009 Best Theatrical Troupe by Real Detroit and Best Place to See Local Theatre in 2009 and 2010 by the readers of Metro Times.
