Please note, the Splatter Zone seats, where the blood really flows, are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

In order to celebrate the film's premiere that took place in downtown Detroit on October 15, 1981, tickets ($22) for the Saturday, October 15th show will be discounted $3 to celebrate the film's three-decade-long run.

Based on Sam Raimi's 80's cult classic films, Evil Dead: The Musical unearths the old familiar story: boy and friends take a weekend getaway at abandoned cabin, boy expects to get lucky, boy unleashes ancient evil spirit, friends turn into Candarian Demons, boy fights until dawn to survive. As musical mayhem descends upon this sleepover in the woods, "camp" takes on a whole new meaning with uproarious numbers like "All the Men in my Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons", "What the
F&%* Was That?" and "Do the Necronomicon".

With the approval of both Sam Raimi and the film's star, Bruce Campbell, the first musical version of the film was staged and enjoyed a successful workshop in Toronto and subsequent performances at the Just for Laughs Festival 2004. The Off-Broadway production opened on November 1, 2006 and ran through September 6, 2008.

Evil Dead: The Musical has Book & Lyrics by George Reinblatt and Music by Frank Cipolla, Christopher Boyd, Melissa Morris, and George Reinblatt.

Who Wants Cake? opened the doors to their resident home, The Ringwald, in May 2007 with Fatal Attraction: A Greek Tragedy. Quickly, The Ringwald became a mainstay of Detroit's theatre community. Since opening their doors, Who Wants Cake? has been offering up slice after slice of successful shows
including Southern Baptist Sissies, Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical, Killer Joe, The Bad Seed, The Book of Liz, Rent, Mercury Fur, Thank You For Being a Friend, Evil Dead: The Musical, and [title of show]. Who Wants Cake? was named the 2008 and 2009 Best Theatre Group in Channel 4's Vote 4 The Best contest, the 2009 Best Theatrical Troupe by Real Detroit, and Best Place to see Local Theatre in the 2010 and 2011 Best of Detroit poll in the Metro Times.
