Emergent Arts presents Chili Challis' Comedy Dojo, at 5 pm Sundays June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, at The Mix Studio Theater, 8 N. Washington Street, Ypsilanti, Michigan 48197. Chili Challis, national headliner comedian and former staff writer for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, holds his Comedy Dojo every Sunday at 5 pm at The Mix Studio Theater, where he coaches new and experienced standup comics in the nuances of their craft. Afterward, there is an Open Mic which gives Dojoers the chance to mix with some of the best Michigan and Ohio comics. The Dojo is a fee-based workshop with rolling sign-up at any time.
