Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)[revised] has been extended at The Mix Studio Theater. This is in addition to their second week shows of Nov. 13-15 at 8pm and Nov. 16 at 2pm. Following up a very successful run of The Complete History of America (abridged) this last summer at The Mix, Emergent Arts brings you another great night of irreverent satirical lampooning of very serious matters by the same authors (or at least their coworkers), this time targeting the bard himself, Shakespeare. Directed by Tim Henning and featuring notably notorious local thespians Larry Rusinsky, Jon Elliott and Steve Elliott (they say they're not related, but something weird is going on there), this is what we do best: make fun of stuff we don't understand. The following are reviews and descriptions of the original cast and writers' performances. Hopefully, you'll be fooled into thinking we are them, or at least that we are just as funny. We are. We just don't charge nearly as much.
