Today, Electric Forest (EF) announced that it will offer two unique weekends of the beloved music and camping festival at the legendary Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan. The festival, which will take place June 22-June 25 and June 29-July 2, 2017, posted official news of this "Intimate Expansion of Community" on its website this morning. With last year's festival selling out again in record time - a mere two weeks after tickets went on sale - Electric Forest's move to offer two distinct, back to back weekends at a lower capacity strives to nurture the evolution and growth of the EF community while honoring the much cherished EF experience.

Electric Forest producers Madison House Presents and Insomniac hope that expanding the festival to two weekends in 2017 allows the EF community to invite more friends, participate in more ideas, and continue to contribute to this next chapter of Electric Forest together.
"Immediately after each year of Electric Forest I dream of what it can become in the future," explains Electric Forest Founder/Director and President of Madison House Presents Jeremy Stein. "There is not a formula. We do not try to match the past. Instead, we challenge ourselves to raise the bar while writing a new chapter. Our collective goal is to propel creative experimentation and cultural exploration. By combining the past, present, and ideas for the future, Electric Forest can take a new and exciting form each year."
"It's exciting that after six years of Electric Forest we are ready to announce the next chapter of our festival experience." said Pasquale Rotella, Co- Founder of Electric Forest and Founder and CEO of Insomniac. "In 2017, we will see Electric Forest evolve into two unique weekend experiences. I am glad EDC Las Vegas attendees will have an opportunity to rest and recharge before making the journey out to another festival. Home is where your family is, and the Forest has become another destination this community can call home."
