Coca-Cola Gives Back; Donates 100 Kenny Rogers Christmas & Hits Tickets To Distressed Families

As part of the "Coca-Cola Gives Back" program, 50 vouchers to Kenny Rogers Christmas & Hits tour, Dec. 18 at the Fox Theatre will be available to families experiencing economic hardships. Vouchers can be picked-up at the Fifth Third Bank Warren branch, at 30700 Van Dyke, from noon to 5 p.m., compliments of Coca-Cola.

"We're all looking for those little bright spots in life---especially if we've been hit hard by this tough economy," said Mike Alter, market development manager, The Coca-Cola Company. "And for those of you who have, Coca-Cola would like to offer you a gift to show our support."

In the spirit of giving back to the community during this holiday season, Coca-Cola in association with Fifth Third Bank and Olympia Entertainment recently donated tickets to 500 families to The 101 Dalmatians Musical and The Little House on the Prairie, The Musical (Dec. 1-5). Continuing the program, Coca-Cola has added tickets to holiday favorites Kenny Rogers Christmas and Hits tour (Dec. 18) and Michael McDonald's This Christmas An Evening of Holidays and Hits tour (Dec. 20) at the Fox Theatre.

"With Fifth Third Bank's partnership in the "Coca-Cola Gives Back" program, it's amazing to know we've helped distribute 2,000 tickets to deserving families, said Jack Riley, senior vice president, marketing director, Fifth Third Bank. Each week as families fill our branch with excitement, it supports Fifth Third's commitment to reaching out to the community as part of the Fifth Third Holiday Series at the Fox."

Kenny Rogers, the legendary superstar will add warmth to the holidays like only the consummate entertainer can when his highly acclaimed Christmas & Hits Tour, featuring live performances of holiday classics and many of his biggest hits, returns to the Fox Theatre by popular demand for one night only, Friday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. Part of the Fifth Third Bank Holiday Series.
