The Children's Theatre Network announces youth acting class, "The Play's the Thing!" Taught by accomplished instructor/performer, Anne Rhoades and CTN Director, Becky Fox, classes will be held at Performance Network Theatre, June 18th-29th, 2012, Mondays-Fridays, 4:30-6:00pm.

Whether children come as first-time acting students, or have been participating in theatre for years, they'll build upon the acting, social, and physical skills and talents that they have been developing. Both new and return students are welcome, as this summer's session will feature new games and exercises that stress innovation, creative thinking, self-esteem building, and teamwork. The two week experience will culminate in a presentation for friends and family.

The cost is $100 per student. Reservations can be made through the Performance Network Box Office at 734-663-0681, online at www.performancenetwork.org or by coming to Performance Network Theatre (120 East Huron St., Ann Arbor, 48104) Monday-Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm & Saturday 11:00am - 6:00pm.

Children's Theatre Network is dedicated to awakening the creativity, intellect and compassion of our youth through the power and fun of live performance. CTN presents both touring productions as well as performances one Saturday per month on the Performance Network Main Stage.

Founded in 1981, Performance Network Theatre has grown from a fledgling company to Ann Arbor's only resident,
professional theatre. The Network reaches 40,000 theatre patrons and children each year through the year-round Professional Series and the Children's Theatre Network. Performance Network also presents the Fireside Festival of New Works and a series of classes on theatre-related topics. The Network provides uncompromising artistic leadership in the region and produces works that engage, challenge and inspire audiences and artists.
