Charlie Wilson Returns to the Fox Theatre, 4/8

Grammy nominated and Soul Train Award icon, Charlie Wilson, will return to Detroit's historic Fox Theatre to celebrate an "Easter Spectacular" with special guests Kelly Price and Kindred the Family Soul on Sunday, April 8 at 7 p.m.


Tickets ($69.50, $79.50, $89.50 and $99.50) go on sale Friday, February 24 Noon and can be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, The Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge) at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. Wilson will be performing songs from his critically acclaimed albums, Charlie Last Name Wilson, Uncle Charlie and his latest hit CD, Just Charlie; to include chart topping singles, "Charlie Last Name Wilson", "There Goes My Baby", "You Are" and Wilson's current single "Life of the Party".

Multi-platinum R&B artist Kelly Price issued her debut album, Soul of a Woman, in 1998 with the hit single "Friend of Mine". Since, Price has released other notable songs to include "You Should've Told Me", the Grammy Award nominated "As We Lay", and "Why" featured on the soundtrack to Tyler Perry's Why Did We Get Married.

Soul Train Award nominees and R&B duo, Kindred the Family Soul, consists of married couple Fatin Dantzler and Aja Graydon Most noteworthy singles include "Stars", "Far Away" and "Where Would I Be".
