CLUE Comes to The Ringwald Theatre ImageTo make a long story short (too late!), Clue-the classic board-game-turned-movie-now turns into a crowd-pleasing on-stage farce at The Ringwald Theatre, from October 5th through November 5th.

Jonathan Lynn, director and screenwriter of 1985's cult classic comedy Clue, has personally crafted this stage adaptation (with additional material by Hunter Foster, Eric Price, and Sandy Rustin) so the clever and quotable wordplay familiar to generations of movie fans remains largely intact-with a few brand-new twists and tricks.

On a dark and stormy night, six colorful guests-plus a butler, a maid and a cook-assemble for a dinner party at the home of Mr. Boddy. Once the champagne pops, the blackmail drops, and Mr. Boddy's body turns up dead, it's clear that no one is safe. Soon the victims pile up and the guests race to find who did it, where, and with what.

Directed by Joe Bailey and Bryan Lark, Clue features a hilarious ensemble cast of Ringwald favorites and newcomers, including Melissa Beckwith, Suzan M. Jacokes, Tim Kay, Sydney Lepora, Shane Nelson, Richard Payton, Inney Prakash, Donny Riedel, Gretchen Schock, and introducing Joe Bailey as Mrs. Peacock.

The design team features Patrizia Makohon (set), Brandy Joe Plambeck (lights and sound), Katy Schoetzow (props), Cal Schwartz (costumes) and Molly Zaleski (choreography).

Tickets can be purchased at www.TheRingwald.com or at the theatre, located at 22742 Woodward Avenue in downtown Ferndale. The Ringwald box office opens 45 minutes before performances and tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card. For more information, please call 248-545-5545.
